| 2006 IN RETROSPECT |
This past year ...2006...absolutely flew by !
I had committed myself to a Regional Art Gallery exhibition during June and July and really had to apply
myself to produce enough work for it.
The Exhibition, titled 'HORSEWORKS', was very well received. A special thanks to all those who patronised
the event !
Many pictures are shown below for everyones' viewing pleasure, several are from 'HORSEWORKS' , but there is a
range of other work from 2006 as well .
Amongst other happenings and displays I had the opportunity of 'decking-out' a restaurant with 16 paintings
for a private function celebrating the birthday of two Arabian Horse breeders (early in the year).
What an enterprising restaurateur !!!! How very thoughtful.... and such a nice personal touch !
Along the way I painted 8 donated works for fund-raising projects...( we all need to give a little
back!)
I was also very busy with 10 commissioned works completed. My apologies to those still waiting...'yours
hasn't been forgotten !'
2006 's finale was a trip overseas to Kuwait .....A wonderful country with extraordinarily
hospitable and warm-hearted people......and the most amazingly beautiful Arabian horses I have ever seen
!!!!
I also spent a great week in Bahrain and a week in Paris at the Salon du Cheval for the World
Championships....once again meeting many wonderful people, and of course seeing some pretty special horses, too.
All in all an incredible year and an amazing journey, all thanks to the Arabian Horse.
OF ALL CREATURES GOD MADE AT THE CREATION, THERE IS NONE MORE EXCELLENT, OR SO MUCH TO BE RESPECTED AS
